Booking terms for couples
Who does what
- Veloure is a booking platform. We help you find wedding vendors, send your request, and take a deposit to secure your date.
- Your contract for the service itself (the performance, the car, the makeup, and so on) is with the vendor, not with Veloure. Each vendor is an independent business.
- Once your deposit is paid, the vendor looks after everything for your day. You arrange the details, pay the balance, and agree any changes or cancellations directly with them, under their own terms.
The deposit
- The deposit is paid online through Stripe and secures your date with the vendor. Veloure keeps a service fee from the deposit; the rest is passed to the vendor.
- The deposit counts towards the vendor's total price. The balance is paid directly to the vendor.
- If you cancel, the deposit is not refundable, because it holds the date and the vendor turns down other couples for it. The vendor may choose to refund it, and the balance is covered by the vendor's own terms.
- If the vendor cancels, or cannot provide the service, your deposit is refunded to you in full.
If something goes wrong
- Questions or problems about the service should go to the vendor first; their contact details are on your booking page.
- If a vendor fails to provide the service you booked, contact us at veloureweddings@gmail.com. We will refund your deposit in full and help you find another vendor who is free on your date.
- Nothing in these terms affects your rights under consumer law.
Your data
See our privacy policy. When you book, we share your name and contact details with the vendor so they can look after your day.
